Description
Compact Accuracy for Commercial Pole Lines and Tight Spots
The CTX Short Range Feeders are built specifically for situations where control and accuracy at short distances make all the difference. Whether you’re flicking a small feeder to the far bank of a snake lake or presenting a bomb tight to a feature, these rods give you a refined and precise approach without compromise.
The 7ft model is ideal for pole-length casts in crosswinds or when overhanging trees limit casting options. Meanwhile, the 8ft version gives a little more reach and is well suited for the 20–25m range that dominates many commercial venues. Both rods compress easily and load smoothly, making them excellent bomb rods for subtle presentations.
Fine-Tuned for Light Work
Each rod is supplied with three finely tuned quiver tips – a ¾oz glass, plus 1oz and 2oz carbon tips – to handle different weights and species. This selection allows you to adapt to changing conditions or target skimmers, F1s, or carp with confidence.
The rods are constructed using the same premium-grade 40t carbon as the rest of the CTX family and finished with a Fuji VSS reel seat, quality guides, and a clean, responsive blank design.
