Description
CARP RODS
40T Precision. Compact Seeker Control.
The Seeker short-range carp rods take everything that defines the main range—Toray 40T carbon foundations, Perdurable paint-free cosmetics and modern component matching—and concentrate it into compact tools built for accuracy, efficiency and control. They’re easier to transport, more practical on tight banks and in boats, and far less fatiguing when you’re moving swims, yet still crisp and capable when you need to push them.
Toray 40T carbon allows slimmer butt diameters and shallow tapers, with finer, more lively tip diameters that keep the upper section responsive. The blank recovers quickly, builds power smoothly and needs less weight to compress, which is exactly what you want at short-to-medium range—where overly stiff tips can make bait placement feel vague and inconsistent. The slim tip also helps transmit power cleanly down through the rod, so casts feel effortless and controlled, and lighter leads and refined set-ups remain genuinely usable without forcing the blank to work.
Cosmetically, they are pure Seeker: ultra-modern black, full shrink handles, a matching carbon Clone seat with black hoods, black acetile butt cap and collars, and understated detailing. Guide choice mirrors the main range: lightweight TDG (Steel Lined) as standard, or Braid Friendly builds using BXTRSG (RS Lined) for improved abrasion resistance with braid/fluoro or debris-heavy venues. As with the rest of Seeker, guide frames feature the black Adaman coating, marketed as a higher-grade, more hard-wearing frame finish.
A full range of Seeker blanks is also available for custom builds, and every blank is designed and built exclusively to our exacting standards—so the short rods feel purpose-built rather than simply “cut down”.
