Since the launch of the CTX carp rods, adding landing nets to properly complement the range has always been part of the plan—and with the steady stream of requests we’ve received, it was simply a matter of doing it properly rather than doing it quickly. The result is a CTX landing net range that mirrors the rods in both performance and finish, built to look right on the bank and to keep working season after season.
As with all our landing nets, the CTX range is produced using the same quality carbons as the CTX rod range, and finished in our Perdurable finish—meaning no paint or lacquer is applied after precision grinding, so the true quality of the carbon remains on show for years to come. A bi-axis carbon finish runs the length of the handle, delivering a distinctive, highly attractive look while also reinforcing the structure. The range is completed with a newly developed lightweight stainless steel spreader block, chosen for long-term reliability and a clean, premium feel in use.
Practicality is built in. The 6’ and 8’ handles feature an extra-long section of shrink rubber grip for positive handling when you’re reaching out, lifting, or manoeuvring a fish in tight swims. On the 8’ two-piece handle, grips are positioned either side of the joint and at the top of the handle, helping with separation, arm removal and general handling when hands are wet or cold. Every CTX net is supplied with our ‘S’-Net deep mesh, with a shallow mesh available separately for anglers who prefer it.
Choose between a 6’ handle or an 8’ two-piece handle, with either 42” or 46” arms depending on your netting style and the venues you fish. CTX landing nets are now also supplied with the matt tape blank finish to match the CTX rod range. We are also updating the design of the pins that locate into the handle to incorporate stainless sleeves fitted over the carbon for additional strength.
