Tamer ‘S’ Bank Cat blanks are dedicated European Catfish blanks rather than re-worked carp, spod or general heavy-duty blanks. They are built around the demands of bank fishing for Cats to around 100lb, combining enough tip response to work smaller baits and show takes clearly with the progressive power needed to cast larger deadbaits and apply pressure when a fish turns.
All three blanks use 36T Japanese low-resin carbon with a Perdurable raw-carbon finish. The low resin content helps the blank retain its action and resist significant softening after repeated casting, prolonged pressure and long fights with powerful fish. The Perdurable finish avoids unnecessary paint and heavy lacquer, so there is nothing to chip, craze or dull when the blanks are handled hard in real conditions.
The actions are deliberately powerful but not lifeless. The tips retain enough response for indication and feel, while the mid and butt sections build into the reserve needed for heavy bank-fishing situations. This makes the blanks suitable for powerful European Catfish work where dependable pressure, accurate casting and long-term durability matter.

10’ 5lb Bank Cat Blank
The 10’ blank is the shortest and most direct option in the range, ideal where leverage, close control and accurate placement matter more than maximum casting distance. It suits tighter swims, smaller venues and situations where the angler wants a powerful but manageable bank-cat blank.
11’ 5lb Bank Cat Blank
The 11’ blank is the natural all-rounder, balancing casting ability, fish-playing control and manageable length. It is the best choice when one Bank Cat blank needs to cover the widest range of typical European Catfish situations.
12’ 5lb Bank Cat Blank
The 12’ blank gives the most length and sweep in the range, making it the best option for larger rivers, wider waters and situations where extra casting distance, line pick-up and improved control are important.
