Description
LANDING NETS
Lightweight Carbon. Built for Every Venue.
Built to the same practical, long-life brief as the ‘S’ Range rods, the ‘S’-Net landing nets use the very same low-resin Japanese 36t carbon to produce handles that are light, stiff and strong under load. The main section of the handle is finished without lacquer, avoiding the pitting and sun-bleaching often seen with coated finishes over time. Each net is completed with durable, functional components: long shrink rubber grips, stainless steel fittings, and a compact stainless spreader block with an isotope slot. This smaller, lighter block is particularly beneficial on the longer two-piece handles, improving handling and reducing overall top-end weight.
To suit different waters and working styles, the range is offered with multiple handle lengths and arm sizes. The 36” arms are supplied with a more open river-style mesh, making them ideal for barbel and chub, as well as large tench and bream, and for stalking-style carp fishing where manoeuvrability matters. The 42” option is the all-round UK carp standard. Step up to 46” when fishing abroad, where larger carp are common and where species such as grass carp, pike and sturgeon may also be encountered. The 55” is the specialist choice for catfish or when very large pike are realistic targets.
Handle options include a 6’ one-piece for compact convenience, plus 8’ and 9’ 6” two-piece handles where extra reach is needed—useful on higher banks, in reed-fringed margins, or when you simply want more length for safer, more controlled netting. The 9’ 6” length is also especially useful when fishing long zigs, where extra reach at the critical moment makes landing carp noticeably easier and far more controlled.
The ‘S’-Nets can also be custom-built to match custom-made rods. They are supplied as standard with a deep mesh, with a shallow mesh available separately.

Builds
The following specification represents our standard stock build for the ‘S’-Range Nets, using low-resin Japanese 36T carbon handles, matching carbon arms, stainless steel fittings, shrink rubber grips and a lightweight stainless spreader block with isotope slot. Designed as practical, durable landing nets for a wide range of fishing situations, the range includes 6’, two-piece 8’ and two-piece 9’6” handle options, with 36”, 42”, 46” and 55” arm and mesh sizes available to suit everything from general carp and commercial work through to specialist predator and big-fish use.
As with our UK-built rods, ‘S’-Range Nets can also be custom-built to individual requirements. This allows anglers to specify alternative fittings, finishes and detailing so the net can be made to match their rods or personal build preferences.
Recommendations
Rivers, mixed-species work and stalking-style carp fishing:
‘S’-Net Landing Net 36” is the neatest arm size in the range, making it ideal for barbel, chub, large tench and bream, as well as stalking-style carp fishing where a smaller, more manoeuvrable net is preferred. Choose the 6’ handle for tight swims and compact transport, the 8’ two-piece handle for higher banks and extra reach, or the 9’6” two-piece handle when maximum reach is needed.

The best all-round UK carp choice:
‘S’-Net Landing Net 42” is the most versatile option for typical UK carp fishing, offering a practical balance of net spread, weight and ease of handling. It suits most day-to-day carp venues, while the choice of 6’, 8’ two-piece or 9’6” two-piece handles allows anglers to match the net to their bankside situation.

Overseas sessions and larger fish:
‘S’-Net Landing Net 46” gives extra net spread and reassurance when targeting bigger carp, fishing abroad, or where larger species such as grass carp, pike and sturgeon may be encountered. The 6’ handle keeps the setup practical and compact, while the 8’ and 9’6” two-piece handles add reach for higher banks, marginal weed and more awkward swims.

Catfish, very large pike and big-fish work:
‘S’-Net Landing Net 55” is the largest option in the range, designed for catfish, very large pike and situations where maximum net opening is needed. Choose the 6’ handle when close control and compact handling are important, or the 8’ two-piece handle when extra reach is required from higher banks, boats or awkward netting positions.
