Built from high-quality Japanese carbons and designed around a telescopic butt section with a shorter top section, they pack down much shorter than conventional two-piece rods while still behaving like proper carp rods when assembled. The range is slim, crisp and fast-recovering, with progressive fish-playing actions and the balance needed for short- to medium-range carp fishing, boat work, stalking, travel and heavier specialist use. From the refined 10’ 2.25lb model through to the powerful 10’ 4.50lb and ultra-compact 6’ 3.25lb, each rod is built to offer practical transport convenience without losing the feel, control and dependable performance expected from the ‘E’-Class name.

Short transport length has obvious advantages, but it only becomes genuinely useful when the rod still behaves like a proper carp rod once assembled. That is exactly what Tel‘E’-Class is designed to achieve: the slim, crisp and fast-recovering character associated with the main ‘E’-Class range, combined with a far more compact pack-down for transport, travel and storage.

The key to the design is a telescopic butt section combined with a shorter top section. This allows each model to extend to either 10ft or 6ft, depending on the rod, while closing down to a much shorter length than a conventional two-piece build. The result is a range that is easy to carry, simple to store and especially useful when space is limited, when rods need to travel discreetly in a vehicle, or when compactness makes mobile sessions easier.

Importantly, that convenience does not come at the expense of action, balance or fish-playing performance. The blanks remain progressive under load, clean in recovery and reassuringly responsive in the hand. Low-diameter tips help the rod compress smoothly with minimal effort, making the range forgiving to cast and easy to use accurately at short to medium range.

Like the wider ‘E’-Class family, the rods use high-quality Japanese carbons to keep diameters slim and actions clean. Each model carries the distinctive 45° 1K weave finish with isotope slot, giving the range a clear visual link to the ‘E’-Class family while adding a smart, modern technical look. At the top end, the 10’ 4.50lb is a powerful specialist tool for heavier work such as catfish, travel duties where versatility matters, or use as a compact spod rod. The 6’ 3.25lb is a true close-quarters rod built for stalking, hit-and-hold work and the tightest swims, closing to just 30” (765mm) for suitcase-friendly travel.

Finished to match the Tel‘E’-Class identity, every model features a matching carbon Clone reel seat, full Olive Green EVA handle, Olive Green main whippings, black acetal fittings, a logo butt cap and ‘S’-Lite Slim ceramic-lined guides.
