Description
LANDING NETS
Built for Bigger Fish. Designed for Complete Control.
The Spirit Power Lifter Specialist Pans take the development thinking behind the wider Power Lifter range and apply it specifically to larger specimen fishing. The aim is simple: a pan that is strong enough for serious fish, easy to control at the net and practical in the conditions where specialist anglers actually use them. The Spoon version measures 65cm from spreader to front frame and is designed to comfortably handle most specimen fish, while the larger Rectangular version gives extra length and shape for barbel, pike and other longer-bodied species.
A key part of the design is the two-tone rubberised PVC mesh system. The 11mm green upper mesh allows better water flow, which is particularly useful on rivers, while also helping reduce unnecessary weight. The finer 5mm white lower mesh gives a more secure base for fish and helps prevent hooks and hair rigs becoming caught. During testing on the wider Power Lifter pan concept, fish were seen diving towards the white base mesh, reinforcing the value of the contrasting mesh layout.
The frame and fittings are specified for durability and confidence under load. Each pan uses a heavy-duty green anodised metal frame, stainless-steel threads and a strong black/green spreader block with the Power Lifter grab handle. That handle gives a secure point for lifting larger fish safely, helping the angler keep the net balanced and controlled once a fish is in the mesh.

Recommendations
General specimen fishing:
Spirit Power Lifter 65 Spoon is the versatile specialist option, with a practical spoon-shaped pan that will comfortably handle all but the largest specimens while remaining easy to manoeuvre. It is a strong all-round choice for mixed specimen fishing, tench, bream, chub, barbel and general river or stillwater use.

Barbel, pike and longer-bodied fish:
Spirit Power Lifter 70 Rectangle is the better choice when targeting longer-bodied species such as barbel and pike. The rectangular shape gives more room through the length of the pan, helping fish settle more cleanly and improving control when netting them in flowing water or awkward swims.

River fishing and control in flow:
Spirit Power Lifter Nets feature a wider green upper mesh section to improve water flow through the pan, helping reduce drag and making the net easier to position in current. This makes them especially useful for river fishing where control and clean net presentation are important.

Hookbait and hair-rig work:
Spirit Power Lifter Nets use a finer white lower mesh to help reduce tangles with hookbaits, hair rigs and terminal tackle. This also helps keep fish more secure once they are in the net, making unhooking and handling easier at the water’s edge.
