Description
CARP RODS
Progressive Feel. Compact Control.
For many years, we have offered shorter ‘S’-Range carp rods for fishing smaller, more intimate lakes, for short-session fishing where compact tackle is simply more convenient, and for stalking when you’re travelling light and staying mobile. They bring the same unmistakably progressive ‘S’ action into a shorter format—meaning they’re not only practical, but they’re a genuine pleasure when a fish is under the tip.
We were also one of the first companies to offer dedicated 10’ rods for boat fishing, and one of these models was even named Boat Carp—created specifically for anglers fishing from the boat, or using a boat to play and land carp efficiently and safely.
The blanks feature low-resin Japanese 36t carbon with an attractive 3k weave running right to the tip, and benefit from our Perdurable finish—no paint or lacquer applied after precision grinding—so the true quality of the carbon stays on show for years, without the chipping and flaking associated with painted finishes. As standard, these are fitted with a Clone 3k reel seat and ‘S’-Lite guides with a subtle gun-smoke frame colour.
Built as standard with an abbreviated handle, Clone 3k reel seat, Fuji fittings, and stainless steel collars and butt caps, but because these rods are hand-built in the UK, a full custom build service is available. That means you can specify the handle style you prefer—whether that’s Full Cork, Full EVA, Full Shrink, or an Abbreviated build for maximum compact convenience.

Builds
Alongside our full custom service, we aim to keep stock builds available, while holding a vast range of components to give each rod genuine individual character. We carry substantial stock of these parts so both stock builds and bespoke projects can be finished with the look and specification you want.
Our stock builds tend to appeal more to traditionalists, but the ‘S’-Range can just as easily be built in more modern styles without losing the distinctive feel that defines it
