Description
BLANKS
Modern Toray Carbon. Clean, Efficient Performance.
Seeker blanks use Japanese Toray 40T carbon with a diagonal woven finish, giving them the crisp recovery, slim diameters and efficient power transfer that define the Seeker family. Designed by Free Spirit and made exclusively for us, these blanks are built for anglers and custom builders who want modern performance, clean cosmetics and a blank that compresses properly without needing excessive lead weight to make it work.
The Seeker material platform allows shallow tapers, finer tip diameters and responsive upper sections that recover quickly and track cleanly during the cast. This helps produce straighter, more accurate casts with less wobble after the lead has left the rod, while still making the blank forgiving enough for real-world anglers rather than only elite casters.
A key part of the Seeker identity is the Perdurable finish. The blank is not painted or lacquered to disguise the carbon; instead it is properly ground and finished so the natural quality of the material remains visible. This gives a clean, ultra-modern blank appearance that stays looking right season after season without relying on coatings that can chip, mark or age poorly.
Across the Seeker, Launcher, Searcher and Spirit Specialist blank families, the aim is the same: high-quality Toray carbon, efficient tapers and purpose-designed actions. The result is a blank range that covers compact carp rods, mainstream carp rods, long-range work, baiting and marker tools, creeper-style stalking and surface fishing, and progressive specialist and barbel applications.

Seeker Blank Uses
Carp & Short Carp Blanks
The Seeker carp blanks cover compact 9’ and 10’ models through to 12’ and 13’ main-range carp actions. The 10’ blanks are designed for close-to-medium range work, boat fishing, stalking, tight banks and demanding hit-and-hold situations where compact handling and control matter. The 12’ and 13’ blanks provide the core Seeker carp actions, from balanced all-round models through to SU versions for greater range, heavier leads and more demanding waters.
The finer, lively tips help the blank load cleanly with sensible casting weights, while the Toray 40T construction gives fast recovery, low weight and the power needed lower down the blank. This makes the Seeker carp blanks suitable for custom builds where the finished rod needs to feel crisp, accurate and modern without becoming overly stiff or unforgiving.
Launcher Spod, SPM & Searcher Marker Blanks
Launcher and Searcher blanks use the Seeker material approach in dedicated utility tools. The Launcher Spod blanks are heavier-action blanks designed for larger payloads and long-range baiting, while the Launcher SPM blanks use more responsive tips for lighter Spombs, regular top-ups and improved accuracy at short to medium distances.
The Searcher Marker blank is tuned specifically for feature finding, with a slightly duller tip to transmit more information from the lakebed and reduce the tendency for the lead to bounce or skip over details. These blanks are well suited to builders wanting dedicated spod, SPM or marker tools with their own choice of ringing, handle and reel seat specification.
Stalking & Surface Blanks
The Seeker Creeper blanks bring the same Seeker DNA into stalking, margin and surface fishing. The 9’ Margin Creeper is compact and powerful for tight swims, roving and hit-and-hold work, while the 11’ and 12’ Surface Creepers are tuned for subtle presentation, accurate controller work and controlled fish-playing on lighter lines or hooklinks.
Spirit Specialist & Barbel Blanks
The Spirit Specialist and Barbel blanks use high-quality Toray 40T carbon to create slim, responsive and progressive specialist actions. They are designed for barbel, tench, chub, bream and perch, with actions that improve bite detection, cushion lunges and build power smoothly through the blank when control is needed.
The lighter Specialist blanks suit roving, smaller rivers and tench or bream work, while the heavier Spirit Barbel blanks add more authority for bigger rivers, stronger flow, snaggy swims and heavier feeders. They give custom builders a refined specialist blank platform with a traditional feel and modern carbon performance.
